Authentic Reproductions of the Anointing Oils, Emollient Unguents, and Temple Incense of Ancient Egypt

‘The Egyptian’ products offered below are handcrafted by Shane Clayton at his Wandering Stars Cottage, based upon ongoing research into ancient Egyptian mysteries. Using organic botanicals whenever possible, and taking great care for quality, freshness, and sustainability, ingredients are purchased in small amounts to ensure freshness.

Products are created in small batches utilizing traditional Egyptian astrological timing, and some supplies can have variable availability, so we may run out of stock from time to time; but never for long, so always check back!

‘The Egyptian’ oils and incense mixtures are all formulated according to ancient Egyptian temple or tomb writings and the latest archaeological and Egyptological research. Many of their ingredients have clinically proven health benefits, and these are addressed in separate “About” articles, hyperlinked in the descriptions of the products listed below.

While many of the ingredients are well-known or at least familiar to contemporary herbalists, skin and hair care specialists, and aromatherapists, there are also a few guaranteed surprises.
